Development of organizational systems, adapted tools for school assignments, and development of time management systems (Seeing my Time).

Interventions focused on visual memory, identification of orthographic landscapes, and fine motor/visual motor skills.

Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT)

Now specializing in CBIT therapy for pediatric and adult clients with Tourette/Tic Disorder. Tourette Association of America notes that
“more than half of the people who undergo CBIT will have significant reductions in tic severity and improved ability to function. Complete elimination of all tics and other TS symptoms does happen occasionally in CBIT.”

Hello from Kathryn!

I am a pediatric occupational therapist with nearly 15 years of experience. After graduating from USC with my Masters in Occupational Therapy, I provided service to students in schools in Southern California, Japan, and Germany. I have substantial experience in the evaluation, treatment, and support of students with fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual, executive functioning and life skill challenges as well as IEP/504 goal development. I am available for private 1:1 OT services in person (Richmond Annex) or via tele-health. Additionally, I am available for consultation with new therapists and IEE and Expert Witness work in Contra Costa, Alameda, and Marin County.

Now certified in CBIT intervention for Tic/Tourette disorder!
